Waimak Classic

New Zealand's premier moving water race is scheduled for the 6th of December 2009.  For results from previous years, go to the Results page.

It's 70km of up to grade 2 fun and challenge in a long boat, that takes anywhere between 3½ and 7 hours - any longer than that and you'll be pulled from the race.

If you're thinking about doing it, make sure you get your grade 2 certificate and some whitewater experience in your race boat now.
